The Lang Group family of companies employs a workforce of more than 2500 worldwide, with the second and third generation of the Lang families now in charge of the company's management.

Corporate citizenship is a concept MEKRA Lang takes very seriously by sponsoring numerous local community projects. Supporting a workshop for the handicapped organized by the "Lebenshilfe e.V." organization, sponsoring low-income families in cooperation with the church welfare agency "Diakonie", as well as working with the Christmas trucker initiative of the "Johanniter" organization are just a few examples. In addition, MEKRA Lang is the lead sponsor of the Franconian open-air museum's theatre program and an important supporter of local youth initiatives and community clubs.

The health and well-being of their employees is an issue close to the heart of the company's management. Orientation workshops offer information on various natural healing techniques and ways to promote health and wellness. The company also offers rebates for Bach flower remedy products and discounted fees for health and wellness seminars as well as participation in the "health circle", a joint project with the largest German health insurance fund, AOK.

In-house not-for-profit childcare facilities in Germany and the USA are a testament to the importance the familiy enterprise places upon a true work-and-life balance for their employees.
