7000 euros from MEKRA Lang for women's shelter and children's palliative care unit

Last year, the Ansbach women's shelter and the children's palliative care unit at Erlangen University Hospital were delighted to receive pre-Christmas gifts. 

This was made possible by the second edition of the Günter Lang memorial sheepshead tournament and the annual MEKRA Lang company quiz. Thanks to the many attractive prizes donated by various regional companies, all proceeds from the quiz and the Schafkop tournament were donated to social causes. 

The proceeds (on a donation basis) for the two events and the doubling of the sum by MEKRA Lang resulted in 7,000 euros each for the Ansbach women's shelter and the children's palliative care unit at Erlangen University Hospital. 

Money that both recipients could more than use. Both institutions have been sponsored and supported by MEKRA Lang for many years. 

It is very important to the management and site management as well as the Lang family not to lose sight of others. This way of thinking is firmly anchored in the company philosophy and has been passed on from generation to generation for 90 years.
