When it comes to passenger transportation, e.g. in school buses, coaches or by local public transport, the safety features provided by vision systems are of utmost importance. This is another area in which MEKRA Lang offers proprietary mirror, mirror replacement and/or camera monitor systems which have been tried and tested for years. Both our proven standardized vision solutions as well as the systems we have developed in collaboration with our customers provide safe all-around visibility.

The statutory fields of view represent minimum requirements. The MEKRA fields of vision shown in ideal-typical representation may vary depending on vehicle size, shape, and mounting location. They do, however, always meet the legal minimum requirements.

The German school bus regulation calls for an additional front cross-view mirror on the right-hand side. MEKRA Lang provides the perfect solutions for this scenario as well. The mirror replacement system displays the front cross-view mirror on an additional monitor.
