District Council President Peter Daniel Forster visits MEKRA Lang

Important visitor in Ergersheim: On Thursday, January 16, 2025, MEKRA Lang had the honor of welcoming the President of the District of Mittelfranken, Peter Daniel Forster.

After a brief introduction and an in-depth presentation of our company by managing partner Susanne Lang, Mr. Forster had the opportunity to experience the innovative mirror replacement system, the DigitalVision System (DVS), up close during a ride in the Vision Truck.

Afterwards, managing director Bernd Dehner took the time to show Mr. Forster around the sister company Lang Technics and the electronics department of MEKRA Lang.

The district president was impressed by the company's high level of vertical integration and constant drive for innovation. “You might think that the mirror has been thought through at some point,” he commented during the tour, ”but there is obviously a lot here that is constantly being developed and improved, from aerodynamics and material savings for savings in the CO2 area to optimized image quality in the mirror replacement systems for more safety even in low light conditions.”
