VISION SYSTEMS COMBINED WITH RADIO FREQUENCY AND RADAR SOLUTIONS
Legal requirements, optimized work processes, and a growing awareness of safety—coupled with significantly higher demands on safety measures—are making mirror-and-camera-monitor systems increasingly attractive for construction machinery.
In addition, we offer supplementary solutions such as radio-frequency identification (RFID) and radar-based systems that support the operator’s work. We are your expert partner for 360° surround-view solutions based on our MEKRA long-range mirror and camera-monitor systems.
We look forward to your inquiry!
REQUIREMENTS
In the construction machinery sector, the standards ISO 5006, ISO 14401-1, and EN 474 apply, all of which are met by our mirror and camera-monitor systems.
The statutory fields of view specify the minimum requirements. The idealized MEKRA fields of view shown may vary depending on vehicle size, contour, and mounting point, but in any case meet the statutory minimum requirements.
MIRROR SOLUTIONS
By using mirrors and a camera-monitor system, all three requirements can be met. This covers the 12-meter radius around the vehicle specified in ISO 5006. ISO 14401 describes the rear area that must be monitored, which can be optimally viewed using our MEKRA mirror systems.
To meet the field-of-view requirements, we have developed the 1009 modular mirror with an auxiliary mirror, or the 572 main mirrors shown here and the 573 wide-angle mirror, which is installed only on the right side.
360-DEGREE VISIBILITY SOLUTION
To meet the demanding working and environmental conditions associated with the use of excavators on construction sites, MEKRA Lang develops camera-monitor systems for every application, such as the 1301 camera, the standard MEKRA monitor, and the Surround-View monitor.

360-DEGREE VISIBILITY SOLUTION
To meet the demanding working and environmental conditions associated with the use of wheel loaders on construction sites, MEKRA Lang develops camera-monitor systems for every application, such as the 1301 camera, the standard MEKRA monitor, and the Surround View monitor.
Rear Area Monitoring via Radar System
The radar sensors are highly resistant to contamination and reliably detect objects and people even in challenging environmental conditions such as dust, rain, or snow. In addition, the sensors can be connected to our MEKRA monitor.
Furthermore, the sensors can be individually adjusted and adapted to special configurations.

Additionally, a ramp mirror is installed on both sides, as on a truck, to provide visibility of the areas to the right and left of the vehicle.
360-DEGREE VISIBILITY SOLUTION
To meet the harsh working and environmental conditions associated with the use of dump trucks on construction sites, MEKRA Lang develops camera-monitor systems for every application, such as the 1301 camera, the standard MEKRA monitor, and the Surround View monitor.

WORK AREA MONITORING
To meet the harsh working and environmental conditions encountered when using paving machines or other specialized vehicles on construction sites, MEKRA Lang develops camera-monitor systems for every application.
To meet these varying conditions, we have developed the 1301 camera, as well as the standard MEKRA monitor and the Surround View monitor.
