REQUIREMENTS
Class II, IV, V, and VI fields of view are required by law.
Classes II and IV are covered by our main mirror system and the mirror replacement system.
Classes V and VI can be viewed via our ramp and front mirrors as well as our camera.
The specified fields of view are defined by the ECE R46/04 standard.
The legal fields of view specify the minimum requirements. The idealized MEKRA fields of view may vary depending on vehicle size, contour, and mounting point, but in any case meet the legal minimum requirements.
MAIN AND WIDE-ANGLE MIRRORS (CLASS II AND IV)
For trucks, field-of-view classes II and IV are required by law. To ensure compliance, MEKRA Lang offers both traditional mirror solutions and modern mirror replacement systems consisting of cameras and monitors.

REQUIREMENTS
Class II, IV, and V fields of view are required by law.
Our cameras provide a view behind the vehicle, into the body/trailer, of the drawbar during coupling, and a 360° panoramic view.
The legal fields of view specify the minimum requirements. The idealized MEKRA fields of view shown may vary depending on vehicle size, contour, and mounting point, but they always meet the legal minimum requirements.
REARVIEW CAMERA
The rearview camera captures areas behind the vehicle that cannot be seen directly or in the mirrors. Ideally, the camera has a field of view of 100° or 120°, making it easier to back up.
CAMERA ON THE TRAILER HITCH
A camera mounted on the trailer hitch assists the driver during the towing process. The towing process can be monitored with a 120° field of view.
360-DEGREE VISIBILITY SOLUTION
The MEKRA Surround View system provides the driver with optimal support in every driving situation. The system has a modular design and can therefore be operated with up to four cameras. By connecting to the vehicle's signals, the system is controlled fully automatically.
WORK AREA/CARGO AREA CAMERA
A work area camera aids in monitoring work processes or helps oversee loading and unloading operations. Shown here is the field of view of a work area camera used to monitor load distribution in bulk material transporters with a 70° field of view, using a dump truck as an example.
