We process your personal data only in accordance with legal requirements.
Legal basis and purposes of processing
Contractual obligation:
For example, we may be required to process your personal data to fulfill an order, a purchase order, or another contract that you or your employer has entered into with us.
Legitimate interest
Legitimate interest. The legitimate interests of the MEKRA Lang Group include the management of its own day-to-day business within the framework of lawful and fair business practices, including the management of business relationships for the purpose of fulfilling contracts involving you or your employer and/or entering into contracts with you or your employer.
Consent
In exceptional cases and only if no other legal basis applies, the MEKRA Lang Group may ask for your explicit consent to process your personal data for the following purposes. Even after you have given us your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. However, this does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on your consent prior to withdrawal. We will no longer be able to process your data from the time of withdrawal, however.

To communicate with your employer to manage the relationship between us and its suppliers for the purpose of fulfilling contracts involving you or your employer, and/or to enter into a contract with you or your employer.

We generally receive your data from you or your employer.
How long do we store your data?
We retain your personal data for the time necessary to fulfill our own legal and contractual obligations. This takes into account, among other things, the contract term, warranty, and product guarantee requirements. Your data will not be stored for longer than is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected.
Your data protection rights:
You have the right to request information from MEKRA Lang and access to your personal data that we process. You also have the right to have your personal data corrected if it contains errors or to request the deletion of your personal data. Furthermore, you are entitled to restrict the processing of your personal data, meaning you can ask MEKRA Lang to process your personal data only for specific purposes. Furthermore, you have the right to object to processing where there is a legitimate interest. Additionally, you have the right to data portability (transfer of your personal data to another data controller) if the processing of your personal data by us is based on consent or contractual obligations and is carried out by automated means.
